I know it’s a lot of work but I love getting ready for Christmas.   I don’t know what it is about the work but I never tire of it.  Maybe it’s because it is just so peaceful to have around.  Many of Stampin’ Up’s items do seem like they are meant just for cards but I really enjoy the challenge of using them on my scrapbook pages.

This two page scrapbook layout was one of the make-n-takes from my Fall Retreat this past September.  The ladies just love the make-n-takes.  If you haven’t been to one you really must check them out.  They are over the top retreats and we always sell out.  You can find more info about them here.

Not only is the Smitten Mitten Bundle an easy way to stamp bit it’s a stinkin’ cute name too!

Today I was in a bit of hurry to get some scrapbook pages done and that was my go to set.  I’m really liking how simple it is.

Again I made use of some of the Stampin’ Up! Edgelits to create a focal point on my pages.  To make the pegs to hang the mittens on I used the circles from the Cookie Cutter Punch.

Have you every tried to use some of the Stampin’ Up! edgelits on a scrapbook page?   Well I do it all the time!

Scrapbook is something that never comes easy for me but I am always happy with the results.

Using the Hearts Come Home Bundle from the 2017 Stampin’Up! Holiday Catalog I was able to create this super cute city scene on my page.  I will say it did take some time to get used to the black and green color combo of the Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper but it has really started to grow on me.

Let’s get started scrapping.   Spring is in the air, well maybe not in Michigan as it’s snowing, but it’s on it’s way so let’s get started with some spring pages.

March 2016 scrapbook page_StampersClub

I used some of my left over Wildflower Fields designer paper that I had gotten for free last month during the annual sale a bration event and this is a great way to use some of the scraps.

All of the small squares along the bottom are 1 -7/8″ x 1- 7/8″ and the black photo mats are 2-1/8″ x 2-1/8″, 4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ and 4-1/8″ x 6-1/8″

Some of the Whisper White squares at the bottom are stamped with another free set I received last month and colored with my markers like I did on my Easter card a few days ago.  You can see that technique here.

Cardstock colors are:  Delightful Dijon, Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Always Artichoke

Marker colors are: Delightful Dijon, Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, Wisteria Wonder

I know it’s still summer but like most scrapbooking the pages don’t always  get done during the current season.  In fact we are sometimes months behind but hey that’s all good because it also helps us go down memory lane.

October 2013 scrapbook layout

I have a very thoughtful page I actually made a few months ago and still need to get some photos on. I hope this will inspire you to make your own fall pages and it will either help you with getting your photos from a previous fall out or you will be ahead of the game this fall.

Hexagons are all the rage.  They rank right up there with the chevrons.  The Six Sided Sampler Bundle from Stampin’ Up! sure has fixed me up.  Last month my scrapbook club girls made this page with the new stamp and hexagon punch in the bundle.

six sided sampler scrapbook page

I started out this page by using the colors from the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper to stamp out the hexagon images with the Six Sided Sampler Stamp Sent and then punched them out with the Hexagon Punch.  Then added some cute elements using the DSP and finished it all off with a few bits of Epic Day This and That Washi Tape and an array of flowers that I created with the Flower Shop Stamp Set and the Pansy Punch.

And looky what I did for the flower center.  Yep you guessed it I used some Simply Pressed Clay that I colored with a few drops of Daffodil Delight re-inker and made a rosette from the Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds.

After you fill the mold with the clay put in the freezer for about 5 minutes, pull it out and pop out the flower.  Leave it to dry.  It will still feel spongy when it’s dry.

Super cute huh!

Of course I also made several cards with these stamp sets but you are just going to have to stay tuned to see those.

I was not one to scrapbook in the past and it took me some time to learn how to put pages together.  I am now totally hooked and truly enjoy creating page layouts.  My club girls come each month excited to see what we are going make.

Of course Stampin’ Up! has done it again with this new catalog and made it super easy to create the pages by using the product suites they have put together.

This one was made with the Gingham Garden Suite.  I received the kind &  Cozy Stamp Set free while I was on the trip to Fiji with Stampin’ Up! this past May.  They left me presents on my bed at night “pillow gifts”

I am totally in love with this stamp set and you will be seeing a fair amount of it.  Another item I am finding I can’t live without is the Washi Tape.  Take a look at how I added just a touch of it to this page.

See the strip with the little flowers.  That’s the Gingham Garden Washi Tape.  Doesn’t it look like a napkin.

I know not many think that you can have stamping on your scrapbook pages but I do it all the time.  I enjoy the way it makes the pages come alive with personalization.  I get to continue my love of stamping along with creating beautiful pages to accent my family photos in my albums.

Since I receive the designer paper for free during Sale–a-bration I was super excited to use it and doesn’t it match up perfectly with the 2010-2011 In Color cardstock.

This cardstock will be retiring at the end of May so be sure to hop on over to my web store to get you supplies stocked up before they are gone.

I also used the free Fresh Vintage stamp set along with the 2010-2011 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers.  I love the way Stampin’ Up! has all of the things you need to make the color coordination happen so quick and easy.
